An MP3 Player That Helps Breast Cancer

If you're looking to purchase a portable music player soon, then you might want to consider looking at the special pink edition of the Pioneer inno. The inno features one touch recording, MP3 storage and playback, a built in FM transmitter, and the ability to store XM radio recordings or listen to XM radio live while traveling or while the radio is plugged into the dock.

XM satellite radio has tons of specialty channels and works sort of like cable television for your radio. You subscribe to the satellite radio service, and then have access to tons of channels specializing in certain genres of music.

This pink portable audio player is pretty cool to look at and has tons of features, the biggest feature being that a portion of the purchase price of the device goes to the Komen Foundation to fight breast cancer. The Komen foundation is working alongside Circuit City to sell the players, donating $30 of the purchase price to the Komen foundation for the first 5,000 of the radios sold.

The radio's typical purchase price is around $350, which makes $30 not a HUGE donation, but still a good one. If Circuit City does sell 5,000 radios then that would mean $150,000 for the organization, nothing to scoff at.

If you were planning on purchasing a mp3 player, XM radio combo this is a really good portable unit and you would have the opportunity to help a great organization out while making a purchase you were already going to make.

I don't think the $30 donation alone is enough to warrant purchasing this particular portable music player however. If your only reason for thinking about making the purchase was to help the Komen foundation you cam make a donation through their website without making any type of purchase.
