Later week Apple announced that they would now be offering their popular iPod Shuffle in colors. Now where there was once only silver you can get pink, orange, green, and blue. I'm on Apple's PR mailing list so I actually got a press release for these in my inbox the morning they came out.

I love my iPod. I carry it in my purse with me almost everywhere I go and will pull it out when I'm waiting in a long line, in a doctor's waiting room, or anywhere else I may have to be for a long period of time.

I have done a lot of traveling in recent months for work. One thing that always seems to be absent in every hotel room is a CD player. For some reason it never occurred to me before that most hotel rooms don't come with any sort of music playing device inside them.

For all you iPod fans out there this week was a big one from iPod. Every version of the popular mp3 player got a little upgrade. I've had an iPod since the first week they were released on the market. Up until this point I had still been using my first generation iPod, and then a Nano for jogging.
