computer mouse and cheese In 1949, Popular Mechanics predicted that in the future "Computers may weigh no more than 1.5 tons." Well, we all know how off that one was. Check out some of these very funny quotes and predictions made by famous people and publications about computers and technology.

"There is no reason anyone would want a computer in their home." Ken Olsen, the president, chairman and founder of Digital Equipment Corp. (1977)

"Computers are useless. They can only give you answers." Pablo Picasso.
