North Pole Holiday Wallpaperby Mary Ann Romans | More from this Blogger 28 Nov 2007 08:29 AM
There are close ups of Christmas decorations hanging from Christmas tress or nestled together in groups. A really pretty one features a crystal ornament in a blue background. If you want to celebrate the winter and not a specific holiday, there are plenty of snow capped mountains, icy lakes, blue snowflakes, clusters of red berries and other winter scenes to choose from. Each scene is vibrant with color. There is even haunting scene of a Christmas tree at the end of a long snow covered pier that is worth mentioning. One drawback is that you don't get to choose your resolution. This didn't seem to be a problem on my laptop that uses a standard 1024 x 768 resolution, so I expect that these images would work fine on most other screens. New images seem to have been added throughout the year for 2007, with the last desktop images added on November 4th. I can imagine that there are many more to come, and I am looking forward to seeing what comes next.
